SILVA CARDIN is of Venetian origin but she grew up in Milan.
In the 50’s, during her childhood, she spent some summer seasons in a small town near Sassari, nourishing her young soul with wonderful experiences, which remained indelible in her memory, perhaps because she could not enjoy them anymore in the distant world of the metropolis.
The women who animate her works are the princesses of every town in Sardinia, just like in her childhood memories, crystal clear Ammentos of a land rich in rites and magic.
The exhibit is dedicated to this land, that welcomed her 40 years ago and that today has become her home.
